I don't know why I am posting this. I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Okay, this time I'll talk about tendencies in vidding community. Yeah, a lot of vidders say they want to be original with their videos, but sometimes it seems like they do the opposite. I won't say any names... But seriously, whyyy do people copy off the others? Some say it's "inspiration", others say they "never meant to copy". For example, vidder A made a simple video, with a few effects, to capture the emotion. Later vidder B posts a video, which is "simple, without special effects or anything". And so on. People follow the trends set by others. Another example: if someone makes, for example, diagonal bars *cough*Smokeyfizz*cough*, people literally start ripping them off. And what makes me sad is HOW people do it. They simply ruin the whole thing, so it's even worse for those who made it first, seeing their work being totally f*cked up.

Now, coming to music. The song choice is really important for vidders: it sets the main mood of the video, adds an atmosphere, helps to tell the story better etc. The list goes on. But what motivates people to use the same songs over and over and over? Just the personal liking? I doubt it. It's fairly simple - it's a TREND. People see a good video set to the song, they think "Oh, this video is great, if I use this song my video will be popular too". But it's not a song that makes the video special! The talent of vidder, his ability to balance the emotion he puts in and the effects, originality, fresh ideas, creativity - that's what makes videos special!

I doubt that anyone would read it, but I just wanted to rant. Lol.

Yeah, I wasn't going to post there at all, lol. But I'm bored =/
Nothing major happens in my life, just school and stuff. I'm graduating in 4 months - HELL YES! :D Finally, 11 years of a nightmare are almost over. I seriously can't wait till uni lol!
As for vidding, I have NO inspiration at all. I really, really want to vid, but I can't. I open Vegas and stare at my screen and NOTHING =/ Well, anyways.
As some of you may know, I got reeeallyy obsessed with "Supernatural" :D It's amazing. Fucking AMAZING. ♥ Oh god. I could talk about it for hours, lol! Well, in case you never watched it, I recommend you to do so, you won't be disappointed =)
